Yesterday we had +17C in Lövstabruk, and I could not resist, something had to go in the soil :D
The Manor house green house: Lövstabruks Trädgårdsmästeri is opening soon, can hardly wait for that, and the Appletrees to bloom
The lawns in the village slowly change from blue to yellow now!
So why not start with the South wall towards the road where some neighbors growing wine, it should be warm enough for some more of the Hollyhocks/Stockrosor, Burgundy colored this time
I planted some Creeping Thyme/Backtimjan in front of the Ilse Krohn Rose
and Cat Mint/Kantnepeta in front of the New Dawn Rose
And at last the large Climbing Hydrangea/Klätterhortensia in the new flower box next to the Kitchen Compost, where it will hopefully camoflage the same and the ugly Electric lockers.
Around it and in the lower etage will I plant Creeping Zinnia/Husarknapp that can take some beating from the Northeasterly winds.
Today it was a bit cooler so a friend, Carina and I went to a Antique store in the next village Skärplinge where I found more of the old Höganäs Stoneware, in the old days used for storage of jam and other things.
They are perfect for outdoor use, very heavy and can take the winds so I put Fuchsias and Pelargoniums in the. And the handles make them easy to move around.
I put the plants in a fitted size plastic pot and fill the bottom in the Höganäs Pot with Hydrograins/Lecakulor.
In that way I can easily separate them for the winter, and I will have a water reservoir inside the pot.
Have a Great weekend!
Wishes Per!
Hej Hans Tack detsamma!
