The Flower Day in Upplands Lövstabruk

Saturday June 14th it was time again for The Flower Day/Blommans Dag here in our village of Lövstabruk.

Concentrated in the Manor House Park by the Gardencenter Trädgårdsmästeriet and the fantastic Orangerie where Perennials where sold outside

Inside it was the most perfect environment for The Swedish Pelargonium Society/Pelargonsällskapet to have a exhibit and sales
(usually used for weddings, concerts and art exhibits)
"Bockens Killing"
"Grow Happiness"
"Something Els"
"Silver Celebration"
In Memorian, the Swedish Pelargonium legend & writer Veronica Wägner that sadly passed away in cancer in Ferbruary

I finish this with a new found favorite: "Goodshill"
Welcome back next year to "Blommans Dag" in Lövstabruk, Per!

Early Spring in the Orangery Linneanum at Uppsala Botanical Garden

After my report yesterday about the spring blossoms in Uppsala Botanical Garden do I now take You inside the Orangery Linneanum (off course named after Carl von Linné) built by money donated by King Gustaf III at 1789.

I did not have time to visit the whole house which just now also have a exhibit with potted spring flowers.
But here is some photos, Enjoy!

Sparrmannia Africana

Prunus Persica "Amsden"

Citrus X Aurantium Pomerans

Camellia Japonica-Thunbergs Kamelia

Apricot Prunus Armeniaca-Aprikosträd
The flowers are not many in there just now, but beautiful and delicate

Even when looking down below the flowers and plants, it's beautiful
Have a great spring day, here it's full sun and +5C, I'm heading out, Per!

A White Surpise in my village of Leufstabruk

This morning when I woke up I had a feeling that something was different with the light, it was very bright!
And wow, the whole landscape was covered in white beautiful snow.
I know, it's February and it should be snow, but after the last weeks of no snow and spring weather it was a surprise.
I know it will not last for long, it will be warmer than usual in a couple of days, so it was just to quickly down a cup of coffee, put on warm clothing and get out there with my camera!

Enjoy, I did :D
